Yesterday, Javier and I celebrated 5 years married and 11 years since our first date. We have been through so much in 11 years. We’ve moved 3 times. We’ve traveled to 4 states, 1 territory, and 5 countries (more if you count layovers). We’ve run too many races for me to count without my records. We’ve helped each other through a combined 6 surgeries (soon to be 7). We’ve birthed 2 beautiful girls. We survived a pandemic and 2 car accidents (his was definitely worse than mine, even though both resulted in totaled cars). I don’t know what I would do without him. He knows me better than anyone else and knows just how to handle me in any situation. He is my comfort and my safety. I love him so much. Here’s to waaay more years and adventures!
